Historical, romantic, beautiful and serene … Welcome to the past at Quinta das Vinhas.

The main house has been carefully restored to sacrifice none of its original rustic charm. It provides 6 bedrooms, dining, living and reading rooms.

6 bedrooms (5 with two single beds and 1 with a double bed). All rooms have telephone and cable television. A hairdryer is supplied if requested at reception.

The living room has fireplace. Furthermore there are a reading room, dining room, small swimming pool, cot for babies, high-chair for children and Baby-sitting is available.

This homestead is high up in the mountains, untouched by the island’s development and surrounded by vineyards and with the gleaming sea on the horizon.

The beauty of this rustic 17th century house fits in perfectly with the dazzling surroundings.

The holiday house has been carefully restored, without altering its original charm. The interior with stone and polished wooden floors and ceiling of wooden beams and hand painted tiles add to the genuinely special environment of this home.

The bedrooms are all different from one another. They are furnished with antiques and each has been named after a plant. The bedrooms on the ground floor open onto a long terrace and face the garden and the swimming pool.

Meals can be taken in the old kitchen where a water purification system generates great curiosity. The catering is simple and local products are used.

Meals are served in the garden, weather permitting, which is nearly throughout the year.

The garden is ideal to spend your days relaxing as it is full of tropical plants and fruit. There are always flowers in bloom: bright blue African Lily, creamy Daturas, flaming Strelizias or romantic pink of the Lagerstromia Indica.

The Tulip tree delights children with its long branches.

The courtyard with Oak trees is ideal for drinking your appetizer and the outdoor swimming pool is very welcoming after spending the day walking in the countryside or for merely absorbing the relaxing sun.

Guests are invited to walk through the vineyards and, if they wish, partake in the grape gathering.
